Stamford's Ferguson Library celebrates Women’s History Month

STAMFORD, CT - The Ferguson Library is focusing on women’s empowerment this month to commemorate past struggles for equality and to highlight new opportunities for the future.

A luncheon featuring Ester Grant-Tinsley, IDA Project Assistant at CTE, will be held Thursday, March 29 at noon at The Ferguson Library’s South End Branch, 34 Woodland Avenue, Stamford. CTE, Inc. is the Community Action Agency for the Greater Stamford area. Ms. Grant-Tinsley will speak on the empowerment of women.

A jazz concert, featuring Libby Richman &Co., will be held to commemorate Women’s History Month on Sunday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at the Main Library Third Floor Auditorium, Bedford and Broad Streets, Stamford. Refreshments will be served.

All library programs are generously supported by the Friends of The Ferguson Library.
